I weighed in (at home) on Monday heavier than I've ever been (almost as heavy as when I gave birth to my kids 15 and 18 years ago. Yikes!) But I'm determined not to ever see that number again. It's really a matter of mind-set. Once you make up your mind and have a goal, it makes it easier. Not that we'll never slip up, but we'll have the motivation to get back on the wagon. :-)Lynda Lee Schabhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05827732317985384301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5603395821726298743.post-3946689580962799072012-01-10T10:34:10.297-05:002012-01-10T10:34:10.297-05:00I do weight watchers too. I've lost 65 pounds in this last year by giving up tons of these vices. Packing a lunch everyday for work with good choices and drinking diet pop has really helped me stay on track. Having a day to indulge in what I want actually helps me stay sane! Lots of hard work, but it's great to have some good self esteem again! All I could find was bittersweet baking squares - yanno the kind that looks and smells like chocolate, but is actually some sort of evil imposter? But I was desperate (for whatever reason), so I ate 'em. Ugh.

I could sure go for a 3-gallon tub of cookie dough ice cream, though. BOOM.

Cheers for your re-commitment to WW. What am I doing? Learning to become a woman of moderation. I did a wonderful study by Dee Brestin called A Woman of Moderation and it changed the way I see food. I struggle every stinking day. Food is the thorn in my flesh, but God's mercies are new every morning. :) Good for you, Lynda! And no, I've never tried an Edy's Dib before. :)Jessica R. Now just a few are satisfying. Except I forgot to tell my daughter. She got me this huge motion detector globe thingie filled with M&M's. The thing that's saving me, though, is that they are Detroit Tiger M&M's. I can't eat a Tiger. :)

Love your new blog schedule! So proud of you. I remember your concern back in September about what was going on with your book. Look at you now!Sandra Heska Kinghttp://sandraheskaking.comnoreply@blogger.com
