Easter blessings...

In honor of Good Friday and Easter, I have posted several of my favorite inspirational Easter quotes. Feel free to post yours in the comments.
Reflecting today on the death of our Savior and looking forward to Sunday, the ultimate celebration of our Christian faith.

"The Resurrection brings my life meaning and direction and the opportunity to start over no matter what my circumstances." - Robert Flatt

Tomb, thou shalt not hold Him longer;
Death is strong, but Life is stronger;
Stronger than the dark, the light;
Stronger than the wrong, the right...
~Phillips Brooks, "An Easter Carol"

And he departed from our sight that we might return to our heart, and there find Him. For He departed, and behold, He is here. ~St Augustine

"Christ has not only spoken to us by his life but has also spoken for us by his death." - Soren Kierkegaard

"But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him." - Acts 2:24 NIV

"The great gift of Easter is hope - Christian hope which makes us have that confidence in God, in his ultimate triumph, and in his goodness and love, which nothing can shake." - Basic C. Hume

On Friday night, they crucified the Lord at calvary, But he said, "Don't dread, in three days I'm gonna live again, you'll see!" When problems try to bury you, make it hard to pray, It may seem like Friday , but Sunday's on the way!

VERY nice! Thanks, Lynda.

"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Ok, more of a Good Friday quote than an Easter one, but it doesn't cease to amaze me.

i love this one.. Greatest man in history, named Jesus. Had no servants, yet they called Him Master. Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime.. Yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
