When I was Just a Kid...

Have you been wondering what I was like as a kid? It's okay...you can admit it. What? You haven't been wondering?

Okay, then. Do you want to know what I was like as a kid? If not, please don't tell me, just quietly click out of this post.

For those of you who are brave enough to stick around...

My friend and fellow Christian writer, Crystal Laine Miller, has a blog called When I was Just a Kid. Over the years, Crystal has featured authors like Denise Hunter, Kim Vogel Sawyer, Richard Mabry, Mary Connealy, W. Terry Whalen, Rachel Hauck, Sharon Hinck, and Siri Mitchell.

And now, I am honored to be included on that list! So today I invite you to visit Crystal's blog and learn more about me as I answer specific questions about my childhood. The interview was fun and I enjoyed reminiscing about the good-ol' (and not so good-ol') days.  Oh - and you'll want to be sure and check out all of the cute (and many not-so-cute) pictures of me. Here's a challenge for you - in the pics with my brothers, see if you can tell which one is the girl. Seriously.

Thanks to Crystal for offering to feature me. Feel free to comment on her blog, read a few of the other interviews while you're there, and laugh at the old photos. Fun stuff, isn't it?

Very interesting interview, Lynda. Enjoyed it. It's true that divorce has lifelong impact for children. I'm glad you rallied forward and came out okay.

I've seen, firsthand, the devastation divorce can cause and it's not pretty. After all, your parents are the first people you trust and when their relationship blows apart, it's devastating for a child. Some people never recover from the trauma.

Take care and thanks for sharing. Susan

Wonderful interview Linda. The Apple Dumpling Gang was my first theatre movie too! Loved getting to know you better and really loved all the pictures you included!
