Check out this tasty book from more than 60 of your favorite fiction authors!

IS THIS COVER GREAT, OR WHAT?

A couple months ago, tween author Nicole O'Dell came up with scrumptious idea. She decided to collect recipes from lots of fiction authors. Recipes that were taken from the books those authors have written. She put out a call to her friends, informing us that her goal was to have this cookbook available in e-book format by November 1st. Then, she sat back as the recipes poured in. She whipped them together and voila! NOVEL MORSELS was born.

Okay, it wasn't quite that easy. With interest from a whopping 60 authors, Nicole worked hours and hours on this project. But, as promised, she met her goal and NOVEL MORSELS is now available.

Nicole says she intends this cookbook to be an annual thing. Is that cool, or what? I am in awe of the fact that Nicole has taken on this project. She has ten books coming out in the next several months, is the host of Teen Talk Radio, and is the mother of six, including a set of toddler triplets! How does she find the time? Nicole is Superwoman. I'm convinced of it.

Well, I am honored to have a recipe included among the amazing authors featured in NOVEL MORSELS. My recipe is taken from my debut novel, Mind over Madi. There is one dish Madi cooks that her kids actually like. I've titled it, Madi's Mean Mostaccioli. I've made it for my family a few times myself, so I can testify to it's yummy-ness.

As I mentioned, 60 authors and more than 120 of their book-based recipes are featured in NOVEL MORSELS! Find out what their characters snack on!

Check out the authors included:

Donna Alice Patton
Nancy Thelen

NOTE: I will be offering ways you can get this cookbook for FREE, so be sure to watch for that.

In the meantime, if you just can't wait (and I won't blame you if you can't!), NOVEL MORSELS is available for purchase on NICOLE'S WEBSITE, but will soon also be available on Amazon.com

Bon appetit!

This is GREAT, Lynda! Thanks for sharing about this book. What a super idea.

I've often thought about putting in a recipe at the end of my books--some dish that was talked about in the story.

Congrats to you and Mind Over Madi!

Thanks, Cheryl. The inside of the book is really cool - there are passages taken from the books where we talk about our recipes, as well as bios and fun pictures. Stay tuned for your chance to get the book for free. :-)
