I'm Baaaack!

I don't even know where to begin. Has it really been almost three months since I've posted?

Quick check...yep!

Wow! Time sure does fly, doesn't it?

Well, I won't get into all the details of my crazy life, but let's just say 2012 hasn't been an easy year for me so far. Not much to do with my writing. Everything to do with my personal life. Like I said, I'm not going to get into it, but if you can send up a brief general prayer on my behalf, I would deeply appreciate it!

Anyway, many of you know I haven't totally gone into seclusion. I have been around --on Facebook, Twitter, etc. -- but I've taken a step back from blogging. One reason being so I could focus more on my book deadline. Which I had extended one month because of...well...because of the craziness. But I am happy to report, MADILY IN LOVE is now complete and has been delivered to the inbox of my editor at Oak Tara. I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to have finally sent that puppy off! A fall slot is being held for my book's release, and you can be sure I'll let you in on the actual date as soon as I have it. celebrated this momentous occasion, to hopefully boost sales for my first book, MIND OVER MADI, and just because I like to give stuff away, I am holding a contest, where you could win a $50 Amazon or Barnes and Noble gift card! I will also be giving away a few books from some of my favorite authors!

I will announce all the details later this week, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, it feels good to be back. I can't make any promises about how often I'll be posting now, but hopefully more frequently than every two-and-a-half months!

I'd love to hear from you about what's been going on in your world. Leave a comment and fill me in!

I'm with Joanne. It's good to see you in my inbox, LOL. I saw your updates, so glad you got your second sent in. Praying for you, and drooling over the giveaway. :)

What did you miss? Hmm...I broke my wrist less than an hour after school got out for the summer, my writing wrist no less. I'm 2/3 done with my CR, and I'm blogging with Vicki Hinze and gang at Christians Read as well as the new network, Bella Women. It's all good, and crazy. (((hugs)))

Ouch, Julie! So sorry about your wrist. And it couldn't have been the other one...the non-writing one...ugh. Thanks, ladies, for stopping by, and extra thanks for the prayers.

Hi Lynda, it's great to see your blog back. Hmm, I have been spending time outside because we can and we're not in the hospital. The boys have swimming lessons twice a week, and I think I have to be the proudest mamma there. I started a new blog for NOOK readers. It's great because it's not much work on my end but it gets me in the habit of writing a blog entry for publication a few times a week. I write other stuff but I usually stash it away. It has taken away my fear of publishing by doing this. Which reminds me that I have an article to proof for the Examiner. Would you mind if I did a review of Mind Over Madi on there? I don't have many readers yet, but I would still love to review your book.

Thanks, Loree!

Stephanie, so glad to hear things are going well for you. I would love it if you would do a review of my book! Thanks so much and let me know if you need anything from me.
