A couple years ago I taught an interactive workshop at the FaithWriters conference, and titled it WRITING IS NOT FOR WIMPS. Basically, I talked about finding the
strength to overcome six main obstacles we face as writers Obstacles like
"Lack of Support," "Procrastination," and "Time and Energy. " (Any of those sound familiar?) After the class, I got lots
of great feedback, so I've compiled the information into an
e-book, in hopes of offering a little encouragement and advice to other Christian writers out there to become the writers God created them to be.

It
is in PDF form, which means you'll probably have to read it on your
computer or print it out (it's 25 pages). It's nothing fancy, but I included a few fun pictures and think it
turned out pretty well, and I actually had fun putting it together. I haven't figured out how to do the Kindle thing yet, but I may try that at some point.

Thanks for sharing your post. I recently wrote an article on Passion, but you are right it takes more than passion. It takes determination, because there will be trials along the way. I usually write Bible studies, but I am currently working on a book called Self-Publishing Simplified in which I share a little about my journey of going from being a blogger to an author with Kindle Direct Publishing.
