What's on your to-be-read pile?

If you're a writer and don't like to read, you're weird. Hey, just being honest. And, if you're like me, you have way too many books on your to-be-read pile. Wait a minute. Is is even possible to have too many books? Hmmm...don't think so. But it is possible to buy way more books than I have time to read. And not only can't I pass by a bookstore without stopping, I get many books for free either from publishers or authors to review or from winning them from blog giveaways (it does pay to enter!). So, my to-be-read pile is looking more and more like my laundry pile: ever-growing, and never-ending.

Right now, I'm reading Too Close to Home by Lynette Eason, of which I'll be posting a review soon. I have two YA books by Nicole O'Dell that I'm scheduled to review at the end of April and three other books I'll be reviewing are on their way to me from Whitaker House. So, you see I have my work cut out for me! Not that you can relate or anything. Other than my books to review, the following titles are only a few on my ceiling-high to-be-read pile.

Deliver Us from Evil by Robin Caroll
Truffles by the Sea by Julie Carobini
Stranded in Paradise by Lori Copeland
Front Porch Princess by Kathryn Springer
Rematch by Erynn Mangum
Match Point by Erynn Mangum
A Slow Burn by Mary DeMuth
Gone with the Groom by Janice Thompson
Diva Nash Vegas by Rachel Hauck
Michal by Jill Eileen Smith
Eyes of Elisha by Brandilyn Collins
The Renewal by Terry Kraus
Walking on Broken Glass by Christa Allan
T is for Trespass by Sue Grafton

If you've read any on this list, let me know your thoughts so I know which ones to move to the top of the pile.

What books are on your to-be-read pile?

I'm reading Forbidden Falls, a Virgin River novel, by Robyn Carr. I'm also reading The "I Can Do This"Diet by Dr. Don Colbert

I've got Chosen by Ginger Garrett, Once upon a Blue Moon by Leanna Ellis, Storylines by Mike Pilavachi & Andy Croft, Selling My Soul by Sherri Lewis, and the print versions of Magna and Making Waves from our own Nicole O'Dell.

A Slow Burn is excellent. Have you read the first of that trilogy?
It's titled "Daisy Chain".

I am awaiting two books I won on blogs and I also have a bag of old books a friend shared with me
Daughter of the Loom by Tracie Petersen and Judith Miller.
The Camel Club by David Baldacci.
My Heart Remembers by Kim Vogel Sawyer.
Carly's Song by Patricia Sprinkle.

I want to take a couple of these with us when we go on vacation.

I've learned to create book lists instead of gathering books to read, but still tend buy too early from time to time! Currently I'm reading what I'm studying-short stories in various literary journals. But first on my list when my course ends is Same Kind of Different as Me by Denver Moore and Ron Hall. I did sneak in my book club readings recently: Blink of An Eye by Ted Dekker, and Hood by Steven Lawhead. And I'd like to try on anything by Francine Rivers very soon. And now you have given me more to add to my list! Thank you!

Love your blog and love to read! On your list, I have read Slow Burn and I have on my shelf to read Michal! I, too, have many more to read....I especially enjoy books by Kim V. Sawyer, Tracie Peterson/Judy Miller, Karen Kingsbury, Colleen Coble, oh me...it goes on and on! Right now, am reading Beguiled (won on a blog)!!

Thanks, Jackie! I really liked Beguiled and think you'll enjoy that one. Does anything compare to free books? :-)

The only one I've read is Sue Grafton's, T is for Trespassing. Since this one is on your list, I'm sure you know what to expect. Sue's books are always a nice, comfortable read.
I did notice a couple I wold like to read.

Hope your Easter was fantastic! Hugs, Rita
