The 12 Books of Christmas Day 6

On the 6th day of giveaways, my daughter picked this name...

LINDA GLAZ

Congratulations, Linda! I'll be in touch soon...

Margaret Daley, whose book Christmas Stalking (read the description HERE) is included in the 12 Books of Christmas, would like to share a recipe with us today.

She says: "My recipe is great for the holiday season. I have fixed this and taken it to Christmas parties. It has been a big hit."
Just in time for those holiday parties! Thanks, Margaret!
Cheese Ball

2 large packages of cream cheese
¼ cup chopped green pepper
8 oz. can crushed pineapple-drained
2 T finely chopped onions
1 t seasoned salt
¼ cup thin sliced ham cut in small pieces
1 cup pecans-finely chopped

Squeeze all juice that you can from the pineapple. Combine all the ingredients except the pecans and mold into a ball shape. Roll the ball in the pecans. Refrigerate.

This recipe beats those powders that you just add cream cheese too. Thanks for sharing. I need to copy this down for another time (perhaps the Superbowl). Around the holidays, I have to do the easy stuff (like the powder and cream cheese) over the delicious homemade stuff. This year I even have premade frosting and cookie dough.
