Valentine's Day Book Giveaway

In honor of this special "love holiday," I am giving away one of three books. Two are non-fiction and one is a historical romance. The randomly selected winner chooses which book she (or he) would like. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me which book you'd choose and why. Easy-peasy!

Contest ends at midnight on Friday, February 18. The winner will be announced on Saturday, the 19th.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Here are the three books to choose from and their descriptions:

Husbands and wives will learn simple and effective keys for talking to, thinking about, and treating each other to build their relationship into one that is all that God intended.

Based on over three decades of counseling, and scientific and biblical research, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs shows couples how to have a happier and more fulfilling marriage. He helps couples see how they unintentionally yet oftentimes shut down their spouse's spirit. Presented in a light yet effective way, wives will learn to keys for communicating so their husbands feel appreciated; husbands will learn how to love so their wives feel truly valued. Included are stories sharing how couples who were once without hope now enjoy fulfilling relationships. These are time tested solutions that will open hearts and pave the way to eliminating conflict, initiating change, and enjoying happiness for a lifetime together.

Kate Evans is an adventurous and independent young woman with a pioneering spirit. She pilots a mail-delivery plane in the forbidding Alaskan wilderness, the lone woman in a male profession. But even that seems easy compared to finding true love. She likes a fellow pilot and would even consider marrying him--if it weren't for Paul, a mysterious man on her mail route with a gentle spirit and a past to hide. Can Kate break through the walls Paul has put up around his heart? And will her quest for adventure be her demise? Book 1 in the Alaskan Skies series, Touching the Clouds will draw readers in with raw emotion and suspense, all against the stunning backdrop of the Alaskan wilds.

Dr. Gary Chapman has spent his life helping people communicate love more effectively and in turn build more satisfying and lasting relationships. His book The Five Love Languages is a regular on the New York Times bestsellers list--even after being in print for fifteen years--and has made the term "love language" a part of everyday speech. Love Is a Verb takes his teaching to the next level. Rather than a typical relationship self-help book filled with lengthy explanations of principles and techniques, it is a compilation of true stories displaying love in action. These stories--written by everyday people--go straight to the hearts of readers, who often say that illustrations are the most effective parts of a book. Gary Chapman adds a "Love Lesson" to each story, showing readers how they can apply the same principles to their own relationships.

Remember to leave a comment letting me know which book you'd choose and why. Don't forget to leave your contact information so I can get in touch with you if you win. Good luck!

**Contest disclaimer: Void where prohibited; open only to U.S. residents. Odds of winning depend on number of entrants.**

I would choose Touching the Clouds. I like Bonnie's books and I haven't read it yet. I also am single so the other books didn't appeal to me.

I would choose the historical romance,'Touching the Clouds'. It is on my Amazon.com wish list already. I love to read about woman aviators. I have read about Amelia Earhart and 'She Flew Bombers' by Jeane Sloane. There is something fascinating about women wanting to fly. They are all very
adventorous and extremely independent people. Please enter me in this contest for 'Touching the Clouds'.

All three sound great. I too would love Bonnie's book, (Alaska & piloting! Whooee) but since the others want that one, if I'm chosen I'll take one of the nonfiction. :)

I love romance and Alaska so I would love to win Touching the Clouds. Having the heroine being a pilot is great. We ladies can do anything and she does.. love it.
Have not read any of Bonnie's books and would love to read them. Thanks..
Being a retired Sr Citizen, no hubby or boyfiend the other two books would not interest me..

I would choose Love Is a Verb, as I'm open to any new ideas of showing love. We mostly think of it as a feeling, and I would like to delve deeper. Plus I've already read the other two books.
Great giveaway!

I'd love to win the "Life and respect for a lifetime" book - after all, one can never know everything there is to know about relationships, and self-improvement is a life-long process. :)

Thanks for doing this giveaway!

Thanks, Lynda!

I think I would choose "Love is a Verb" for my daughter and her husband. They love studying through their small groups about marriage, commitment, love, etc.

I think they've done something with The Five Love Languages before.
